CoachNow for Multi-Coach Organizations - Key Benefits

Before we start, just know that this blog is for a more specific audience than our normal weekly posts.

There’s plenty of nuggets in here for everyone, but I’m specifically hoping to address 2 main types of coaches:

  1. Coaches who own or operate a coaching business with multiple coaches/teachers/trainers
  2. Coaches aspiring to grow a team of coaches beyond themselves

Don’t get me wrong - we love our individual coaches. But we’re on a mission to change the coaching industry as a whole. To do that, we need to transform how coaching businesses operate.
What is coaching, at its core? A relationship.

What does a healthy relationship require? Effective Communication.

What happens if you can’t communicate? Your coaching fails.

It really is that simple.

This is especially true for coaching organizations, i.e. academies, camps, clinics, etc. with multiple coaches under one umbrella.

(Which is why we offer deep multi-coach discounts when you book a demo with one of our head coaches.)

Effective communication not only helps in tracking the athlete's progress, but also in building trust and ensuring that everyone is on the same page.

In other words, communication is critical to your bottom line!

But before you get started, you might have some questions about how to integrate CoachNow into your business.

For example, I get tons of coaches asking me if they should just buy one license and share their login with the whole team.

But I strongly advise that each of your coaches have their own CoachNow account, specific to their athletes.

This may seem like me just making a sales pitch to get you to buy more licenses.. And in a way it is.

But I genuinely believe that it’s the only way to truly reap the benefits of the platform.

Let’s discuss why.

Notifications Become Useless

Notifications are only useful if they aren’t ignored.

Let’s say you have two, ten, or even 100+ coaches in your business - your account is gonna be notifying you constantly.

And, realistically, you’re just gonna start ignoring them. This completely defeats the purpose of asynchronous communication and will make it all too easy to miss important updates and messages from your clients.

Plus, if you and your clients/athletes aren’t sure who is saying what… Your communication will fail. You’ll break the trust of your athletes and harm your relationships.

Sharing an account just leads to too many coaches with overlapping communication and information. The all-in-one benefit of CoachNow will become chaotic and overwhelming.

My whole goal is to make it easier to communicate directly with your clients and help you save time. Getting 100 notifications from your colleagues athletes everyday does the opposite.

Ease of Management Oversight

The owners of coaching organizations love using CoachNow because it allows them to keep track of how their employees are performing.

Because everything is documented in one place, you can see for yourself how your coaches interact with your customers. You can follow along passively to ensure they are meeting the standards you set for the organization.

How can they improve? What are their top strengths? - All things that you need to know in order to drive them to even greater success.

Without being able to clearly identify each coach and their commentary, you have no transparency on the quality of their coaching.

Furthermore, you won’t be able to hold anyone accountable to a high level of service.

Are they meeting the minimal expectations on how they interact with athletes? How often do they post? How often do they comment? Are there opportunities to improve?

Are they delivering the style of coaching that you’re hoping for? Are they coaching with the same level of intention?

I think this is crucial, especially if you’ve certified someone and want to make sure they’re delivering content the right way.

A Better Athlete Experience

It’s imperative that your clients/athletes know who is saying what.

If you share one account, it can be really stressful from your athlete’s perspective - they don’t even know what they’re supposed to respond to or what's being asked of them.

They’ll start to question whether the questions they ask are reaching their coach or a different, unknown administrator.

It’s impersonal, it lacks trust, and it's just flat out a disservice to your clients.

On the other hand, when coaches are working in their own private account, they build more trust, better relationships with the individual coaches, and improve the quality of the business itself.

Trust me - athletes love being able to get a question answered how and when they need it. Access to a private CoachNow Space gives them a much better experience, making it more likely that they’ll stick around or even recommend your coaching to others.

Overall it’s just a way, way better experience for your customers. If you’d like to learn more about the athlete experience within CoachNow, check out this post I wrote on the topic.
At the end of the day, customer experience is really important.

If your intention is to hire more people and/or to grow to more locations, it’s crucial that each and every coach has an account.
That’s where CoachNow comes in to help you expand your business and prioritize communication seamlessly.

Ready to give it a try?

Let me know – I always love hearing from coaches like you.
