Sound too good to be true? Read on. It’s really quite simple when you break it down. 

But before we get started, I want to quickly say: when breaking down the offer, I’m assuming that you’ve been keeping up with our posts here at the ConnectedCoach Academy.

Let’s get to it. 



PREREQUISITES FOR THIS POST: Mindset, Technology, Offer

First things first. 

Regardless of where you are in your business journey, your mindset is gonna be the greatest separator from where you are today and where you want to be. 

And there are a few easy tweaks you can make that will help move your mindset in the right direction

You do NOT sell “Lessons”, you sell “Programs” or “Long-Term Development”. 
With the word “lessons” you are subliminally reinforcing the idea that you are selling a unit of time.

Next, you need to understand the technology required for The $100k Offer to work. 

I’ll be frank: there's really no way to leverage your expertise and move beyond lessons and into ConnectedCoaching if you're not leveraging technology. 

Whatever tech you use, it’s crucial for your athlete to have their coach(es) and all their information in their pocket.

This will help you build and maintain a deeper relationship, offer micro touch points, give detailed video and image analysis, and ultimately overdeliver on the “$100k Coaching Offer” I lay out in this post.

Lastly, you need to understand the basics of the “Hook, Story, Offer” Framework we teach at the ConnectedCoach Academy.

When I say the word “offer”, I am referring to a collection of “products.”

In the context of coaching, these products could be in-person and/or remote coaching sessions, various curriculum modules, training/exercise plans, meal plans, or learning materials like an eBook, virtual ConnectedCoaching access via CoachNow, etc. 

At the very least, these offers are meant to diversify what you do as a coach, so you can move away from selling your time for money and prevent burnout.

Still with me? Great. Let’s break down the $100k offer piece by piece. 



Components of The $100K Offer 


First, let’s start with the live in-person component of your offer. 

Realistically, athletes want to meet in person at least some of the time. While we speak often to the value of remote coaching, there’s no denying the value of meeting up in person via live sessions. 

For the $100k coaching offer, I’m going to advocate that you meet with your athletes for one 2 hour session per month.

As I'm sure you know, it’s really hard to affect tangible change in just one hour, which is usually the block I see coaches set aside for their sessions.  

But let’s be real. Over half of that hour will invariably be spent getting to know the athlete, their goals, etc. By the time you get through all that, you’ve only got a half hour to get something done. 

That’s why I advocate for 2 hour chunks. It allows you to get the pleasantries out of the way and still leave time for the good stuff. 

Next, you’re gonna offer one 30-minute video call per month as a “check in”. 

This is their chance to talk about their progress and ask any questions that they may have. 

Be sure you record these conversations and post them in your athlete’s CoachNow Space so they can reference it easily when they are stuck. 

Lastly, let’s cover the asynchronous part of your offer. 

Here you’re gonna require them to ask a minimum of 2 questions per week and you’ll offer a minimum of 2 video or image analyses per week. 

I say a minimum of 2 questions and analyses because it ensures that they have some skin in the game. It gives them the feeling that you are accessible to them and that you are going above and beyond to track their progress and keep them accountable. 

Adding this requirement sends the message that you require their interaction outside of your live 2 hour sessions. The last thing you want is for your athletes to feel like they are paying only for the in-person component - you need to make it clear that they are paying for your coaching over the whole month, not just when you’re together. 

All the while you should encourage your athletes to only send you their best footage. Make it clear that you’ll do plenty of analysis for them, but that they shouldn’t sendi you every swing, just the ones they feel are most representative of where they’re at. 

The asynchronous component is CRUCIAL for the $100k Offer to work. You need to sell them on the idea that they are paying for ACCESS to you, not just your time. 

All in all, each one of these responses should only take about 5 minutes. When done correctly, this adds up to a minimal time investment that delivers incredible value to your athletes. 



Putting It All Together 


Ok. Here’s a rundown of what your offer looks like: 

  • 1 2-hour live session per Month
  • 1 30-minute video call per Month 
  • Minimum 2 Q&A’s in your CoachNow Space per Week. 
  • Maximum 2 Video or Image Analyses in CoachNow Space Per Week 

So how do you get to the $100k income? Easy. Just do some quick math. 

For the above package, I’ve found the pricing “sweet spot” to be a flat fee of $400/ month. 

At that rate, you just need 21 clients to hit that $100k mark. 

Now I know what you’re thinking….”$400? That feels steep!”

But trust me. It’s not. Athletes will gladly pay that (if not more) for high value coaching.

Remember, the important framing here. They aren’t just paying for a few lessons, they’re paying to have their coach in their pocket and with them every step of the way. 

And you know what? Even if it is too steep, what’s the worst that can happen?  

Maybe you try this for a few months and only convert a few people. There will always be new markets to tap into and new perks you can add to your membership.

Being willing to experiment and listen to the data is part of what makes a great entrepreneur.

You’re never gonna get it perfect the first time, but you can always tweak it based on how your athletes react. 

You can always iterate, but you’ll never know until you try. 



The Outcome 


Flat out, I can tell you that this $100k offer has been replicated hundreds of times. I wouldn’t be writing about it here if I didn’t stand by it fully. 

I’ve helped coaches go from $50-60k over $100k within 6 months, while lowering their overall in-person coaching to just 10 hours per week.   

Let’s do some rough math with the above offer in mind, assuming you have 21 clients. 

TOTAL CLIENTS = 21 
PRICE PER CLIENT = $400 per Month 
TOTAL TIME SPENT = 66.5 Hours per Month (~17 hours per week) 
TIME PER CLIENT = 3.16 Hours per Month
TOTAL INCOME = $8,400 Per Month ($100,800 Per Year) 

Now, obviously, there is going to be some variability and month to month your numbers might vary a bit (especially as you’re getting started). 

But I hope at this point, the goal is clear. 

With this offer, you’re looking down the barrel of just 66.5 hours worked per month. I’ve seen coaches working that much every WEEK and still making well under 6 figures. 

So even if you have less than 21 clients or charge even half of what I’m recommending here, you’re still looking at a very modest income while essentially working part time. 

Think about the impact that extra time could have on your life and business.... That’s what I mean when I say CoachNow gives you freedom of location - by adding asynchronous components to your offer you could be anywhere in the world while delivering highly valuable coaching. 



Action Items


Do NOT look at this information and just think it’s all hypothetical. I’m not putting this out here to offer an interesting perspective and nothing else. 

Remember: knowledge/ expertise on its own does not make for a healthy coaching business. You need to package and sell your coaching systematically to see the kind of growth you want and deserve. 

Here are your Action Items for this week: 

  • Choose 3 of your current dedicated athletes and introduce the above offer to them. Pick athletes that you know are in it for the long haul and who are eager to try new technology.

  • Emphasize that this will give them more value while helping you take your business to the next level.

  • Offer them a discounted rate FOR LIFE. Frame it as “when this launches to new customers, I’m gonna charge them $400. But since I value you, I want to lock you in at $300 for trying this out”.
